When the light hits the beads from the interior it refracts in a way that the gaps visually disappear and the stunning colors/designs take over. IMPORTANT- Our table lamps are wired for North American power outlets. The bulb socket used will be an e12 base. This is often the size used for nightlights and candelabras.
